Nonoti: The Portrait Drawing Machine
The Portrait Drawing Machine draws pen-on-paper portraits,
much like a human artist.
The machine works through a process of repeated observation
and correction,
allowing it to respond in real time to
changes in the subject's pose and expression.
The intention is to create expressive portraits that capture
the history of movement and transformation on paper.

Where can I see the machine?
The machine is currently installed at
TIAT: The Intersection of Art Technology
(151 Powell Street, San Francisco).
You can go there to get your pen-on-paper portrait done for free,
and you can take it with you.
But note that we sometimes briefly remove the machine for other exhibitions.
